Bring your vinyl collection to life with Akai’s newly released ATT10U Professional USB Turntable. The turntable not only playbacks your favourite vinyl records, its USB audio output allows you to digitally store your music on your computer before it’s lost forever.

A fully functional turntable, the Akai ATT10U enables users to play their vinyl records through their Hi-Fi system, supporting 33 ½, 45 and 78 RPM playback speeds, and features anti-skating control. This works to minimize the ‘skating’ force that pulls the tonearm towards the centre of the record as it plays, thus delivering a clear, balanced sound.

The ATT10U also features a static balanced tonearm with detachable headshell, built-in phono preamp, and included slip pad, which allows users to produce ‘scratching’ sounds and other special effects without damaging their records.

The turntable’s USB output provides users with an easy way to record and archive their record collection. Simply connect the turntable to a computer via USB and, using the Audacity software included, import the music from your records onto your computer’s hard drive.

Compatible with both PC & Mac, the easy to use software also lets you remove clicks, pops and other noises, as well as export the tracks into WAV or MP3 formats. As well as giving consumers the opportunity to save old records that may be deteriorating, the USB recording function is also ideal for DJs who are looking for a simple way to record their mixes direct to their PC.
